ABOUT KAIROS

Kairos is an integrated recovery environment designed to help individuals reduce pain, restore movement, and regain confidence in their bodies through coordinated, recovery-focused care. We are not a traditional clinic and we are not a wellness spa. Kairos brings together movement support, therapeutic bodywork, recovery technologies, nervous system recovery, and lifestyle guidance within one personalized recovery ecosystem.

Every client journey is guided by the belief that pain and physical limitation are often system problems, not isolated symptoms. Our work is calm, thoughtful, relationship-based, and designed to support long-term resilience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Recovery Massage Therapist delivers evidence-based therapeutic massage and bodywork that supports client recovery, improves movement quality, and enhances the overall Kairos care experience. This role is ideal for a licensed massage professional who values meaningful client relationships, thoughtful hands-on care, and a low-pressure environment focused on outcomes rather than sales.

You will work within the Kairos recovery ecosystem under the Manager of Massage Therapy & Therapeutic Services and collaborate with the broader team to support individualized recovery pathways.

MISSION

Deliver effective, evidence-based massage therapy that accelerates client recovery, supports movement quality, and improves performance in alignment with Kairos' personalized, non-salesy approach.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Provide therapeutic massage and recovery-focused bodywork that supports client comfort, tissue health, movement quality, and long-term resilience.

• Create a calm, professional, trust-building experience that helps clients feel listened to, supported, and confident in their care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and session notes that support continuity across the Kairos recovery team.

• Educate clients on recovery habits, performance support, body awareness, and practical strategies that reinforce progress between visits.

• Uphold Kairos safety, sanitation, and facility standards so every session reflects premium care and operational excellence.

• Contribute to repeat visits, client satisfaction, and long-term client relationships through consistent, high-quality service.

YOUR ROLE IN ACTION

A client may arrive with recurring tension, limited mobility, or discomfort that affects their daily life or athletic performance. You will deliver intentional hands-on care, listen closely to their feedback, and support the recovery strategy established within the Kairos system. Your work may help prepare tissues for movement, reduce tension, support relaxation, and reinforce the client's confidence in their body.

This is not a high-pressure, transactional massage role. Success comes from clinical presence, professional warmth, disciplined follow-through, and the ability to make each client feel genuinely supported.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Clients report a calm, professional, and effective session experience that supports their recovery goals.

• Repeat session rates and client retention reflect strong trust, consistency, and relationship-building.

• Documentation is completed accurately and on time, allowing the broader team to maintain continuity of care.

• Sessions follow Kairos protocols for safety, sanitation, professionalism, and client-centered communication.

• Clients leave with clear, practical education that reinforces recovery, movement quality, and resilience.

• You contribute positively to a peaceful, results-focused environment that supports both athletes and everyday people.

WHO THRIVES HERE

• Licensed massage therapists who are personable, steady, and deeply client-centered.

• Practitioners who want to work in a thoughtful recovery environment rather than a volume-driven spa or sales-heavy setting.

• Professionals who enjoy building long-term client relationships through trust, consistency, and high-quality care.

• Team members who are warm, socially confident, emotionally intelligent, and able to put people at ease.

• People who are curious about integrated recovery, movement quality, nervous system recovery, and human performance.

• Therapists who value mentorship, professional development, and continuous improvement.

COMPENSATION

This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $25-$40 per hour, based on experience, licensure, schedule, and role alignment. Part-time and PRN opportunities are available.

BENEFITS

• Low-pressure, client-centered clinical environment.

• Competitive hourly pay.

• Comprehensive benefits package for eligible team members (if applicable).

• 401(k) (if applicable).

• Health, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable).

• HSA and FSA options (if applicable).

• Life and disability insurance (if applicable).

• Paid time off (if applicable).

• Employee assistance program.

• Flexible scheduling options.

• Opportunities for advancement.

• Access to tools and modalities that support hands-on care.

• Mentorship and professional development.

GROWTH PATH

Kairos is building a coordinated recovery ecosystem, which creates opportunities for therapists who want to grow in clinical skill, client education, therapeutic service quality, and leadership. High-performing team members may grow into advanced therapeutic service responsibilities, mentorship roles, team lead opportunities, or expanded work within integrated recovery programs.

APPLY NOW

Apply for the Recovery Massage Therapist role at Kairos if you are a licensed massage professional who wants to deliver excellent hands-on care in a calm, client-centered recovery environment. We are looking for practitioners who combine technical skill with warmth, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping people move better, recover more effectively, and build long-term resilience.
